Best Chocolate For Cooking

I intend to make a few Easter nests for the little ones. Can anyone recommend which chocolate to use? I suspect I could use ordinary chocolate instead of specialist cooking chocolate as it won't need to be too heated

if so, let me advise.. a teaspoon or two of golden syrup along with cadburys dairy milk chocolate.

If we were making them for adults, i may suggest a darker chocolate.

Aunty Beeb just says 'plain chocolate' so, as you suggest, ordinary supermarket own-brand (i.e. cheap) chocolate bars should be fine:

No I intend to use Shredded Wheat for a more authentic looking nest
Could I use honey instead of golden syrup as I only have that

Cadburys chocolate. Don't economies & buy the cheaper brands it's just not worth sacrificing taste.

Well - that could have turned out a little better. I think I got the chocolate/shredded wheat ratio wrong - too much chocolate (as if such a thing could ever happen) Anyway there done now and in the fridge for a couple of days - I used a bit of honey too
