Who Does What In Your House?
155 Answers
This follows a chat with my friend at the weekend. So Mr Smow works very long hours, he spends 4 hrs a day just commuting! Roughly out or house from 6.30am - 7.30/8pm, often later. I work from home so hours to suit. But apart from work - I do ALL the cooking, shopping, washing, ironing, cleaning, all housework, gardening, decorating, you name it, I do it. Now I assumed this is normal, as hubby works so hard, but my friend says it isn’t. Isn’t it??

No I'm good thanks I've got one, unlike you who are eaten up by bile and hate. why do I bother you so much you tragedy, you've chased me around this site being vile since I was 14, damned weirdo. It's always me, Gness, Rockrose and a few others- why not get some psychiatric help and do us all a favour.

I'm the same as Sqad on this one, husband provided financially for us and I did all the domestic stuff. Now he's retired (and bored) trying to teach him to load a dishwasher is frustrating. On the other hand my sons all share the household duties, childcare. Probably too old school to work any other way. And I put the bins out, he wouldn't have a clue what day and what bin. Any DIY needs doing we pay someone.
