If the engine management light comes on during a 2 hour journey, then goes off and remains off - and is still off after three days ! Is there anything to worry about ? What could have been the problem ?

05 Honda CRV petrol.

Cheers.

Nothing to worry about.

A sticking sensor or somesuch.
Have a similar problem with a Nissan Note dCi. It cuts the turbo off and the car limps along. Next thing it goes for days with no problem and then it comes on again, then off. Really annoying.
Anyone who owns a car made this century should carry one of these in the glove compartment/boot – after a single use it will have paid for itself.

Don't most cars now give you the error codes if you have the ignition on and press accelerator and brake together?
