..... for a long time.
Just home from an appointment with the Surgery Nurse, walked in, sat down and was told "Mr H I have arranged for one of the Doctors to come and see you" immediate thought was this is not good,
However it turned out to be brilliant. I was diagnosed as a Type 2 Diabetic in early 2010, since then I have been very careful with my diet and have made sure I have done a lot of exercise, dog walking, weight training and other things.
As of today I am no longer classified as a Diabetic and can stop the Meds and stick 'em in the bin,
I am really chuffed to bits ;o)))
bazile...excuse me for stepping in here for Baldric, but he has summed it up quite well.
"with my diet and have made sure I have done a lot of exercise, dog walking, weight training and other things. "
That is the secret. As for diet, this is a very personal thing which differs from patient to patient but basically just keep on with your normal diet BUT eat less of it.
Baz, normal diet, just as Sqad says reduced amount and well cooked,
I lost 4 Stones over the time, luckily we are all good cooks, so it was not a problem.
