Cat’S Poorly Tail
35 Answers
Our cat is a long head moggy but he’s really scruffy. A couple of days ago he got something manky in his tail but went out before we could sort it out. When he came back the next day, the hair had clumped up but he’d caught the clump on something and the result was a bald patch on his tale. He is now licking this so much that he’s making the bald patch worse. What am I supposed to do - is it a cone of shame job and try to keep him in or will he leave it alone and the hair will grow back?

Alas, she was bad tempered verging on vicious and hated being groomed, trying to get knots out of her coat was a nightmare. She used to torment Frankie, bullying him and beating him up.
He has been much happier since she died. (suspicious!)
