Verruca Problem

One of my other sons has just txt me to say that he is in agony with a verruca, which he has had for months. He’s been to his doctor but his doctor said they don’t deal with verrucas(??) which I’m completely baffled about. He’s been to chemist and tried over the counter remedies but nothing is working. Any ideas??

The one time I got one the GP just froze it off.
That was in the good old days though when patients got a service.

My chiropodist has used a marigold preparation for verrucas with good results.

I had to put thick brown ointment on mine, from a tube years ago. Think doctor prescribed it. It took many weeks, but after peeling top of verooca off each couple of days, it eventually came away. The last bit of root was the hardest and most painful! Cant remember what ointment was called.

OG you can buy the freeze stuff and DIY now, no need to waste the GP's time.
