No One Cares About Grenfell
29 Answers
Theresa May pretty much promised that action on Grenfell would be part of her legacy. Fact is it really won't be.
Two years on only 15% of the Grenfell money has gone to where it is needed.
Two years on people are STILL living in hotels and temporary accommodation.
Two years on still 200 tower blocks have the exact same problems that Grenfell did which caused the destruction, loss of life and horror that we saw.
She even has continued austerity in the fire service.
Will the next Gov make right?

In fairness one would have expected building owners to have been forced to replace dangerous cladding with something known to be safe at their own cost by now. But like many events in the news, I don't involve myself directly in them but expect those with the responsibility to sort it out. Surely it is in a council's interest to speedily get folk out of temporarily accommodation and into something permanent. If they haven't yet there must be a reason.
