Maltese Money

I am shortly taking a holiday in Malta ,Can anyone tell me if they are now useing the Euro or do they still use the Maltese Lira/Pound ?

firstly can i say,i used to go malta every year when i was younger with my auntie and uncle what a lovely place people are fab,yep they still use the maltese pound have a nice time geordie22
