Does anyone believe in ghosts, more importantly has anyone seen one or had something happen to them that is "totally" unexplainable?

My nan died earlier this year. My cousin and I went down to the sea to say goodbye to her, it was a special moment as she always associated us being together. As we were talking about/saying goodbye to her a shooting star went by. It was the first my cousin has ever seen. A few weeks later, my cousin and my aunt were talking and my aunt was deciding what she wanted to do in the future and wondering if nan would have been proud of her, as she said this she saw a shooting star.
Could be a coincidence but I like to think not.

My last house had a visitor that liked to wander around (maybe I was the visitor, maybe it was the owner of the house from when it was first built)
A few things happened, it managed to show itself a few times and used to tap me on the shoulder in the night before my bf moved in.
When we got our cat it seemed to disappear - although I still think the cat could see it when she first arrived.
I think if you're happy to believe that they're around us then you're more than likely going to see or feel something. But for those who don't believe, there will always be a different version to the story.
It's a bit like God v's The Big Bang Theory.
Both have points to consider and both have enough evidence to those that believe either way.

ward minter, thats really fascinating stuff. Have you not thought of documenting what you have experienced and comparing "notes" with other soldiers or doctors/nurses etc. I'm convinced there is something else after this life but I really don't think we are meant to know the whole truth until we leave this world and enter the next. I don't think we could cope with knowing what lies ahead.

I will never forget the day I awoke, frozen to my bed not able to move with the grim reaper standing at the foot of my bed. I couldnt see his face as the cloak hid it, but he was laughing at me. The laughing got louder and louder. As I broke free fropm this weird invisible hold he dissapeared. For weeks I did not tell anyone, trying to convince myselfr that it was all a dream. but it wernt. A few months later I was in the shower. When I reached for the towel, it was there again, but literally for a split second. This was at least 8 yrs ago now. Very scary, very real, and I dont really like talking about it. I will never forget it.
Heaven n Hell Hmm. I believe myself to be a good person. I think good thoughts, have kind thoughts about people, my mind is peaceful etc. I admire the countryside and sea, relish the feel of the sun on my skin etc, therefore I consider myself to be a pure, good person. Yet there are things I have done in my life that I shouldnt have done. I have made mistakes and could have done things differently.
Where's the balance between good and bad?
My most memorably strange experience was when I was a child. I remember floating at the top of the wall where it meets the ceiling and floating along the top of the wall, trying to get down and not being able to. Cant explain it.
