When and why was the last time you were scared? I don't mean scared like you thought you saw a spider on the carpet... I mean real fear!

On horse riding holiday in Botswana in May, when suddenly heard screaming behind me. Thought that someone had fallen off, only for horse to appear next to me with rider intact just yelling 'lions!'. Got head together and achieved top speed whilst guides chased lions off. Spent rest of week not too far away from guide...
When we lost our daughter, (she's Autistic and doesn't speak), we were on holiday, just got back to the chalet, put the shopping down, turned round, and she was gone, we'd left the door open, but couldn't have been more than ten seconds, panic, I think its the only time in my life i've done that, the whole camp came out to look for her, the police came, I think it took probably about thirty minutes before we found her, sh'd gone out of our open door, through the open door next to ours, and thats where she wasm, happily squatting on the floor, shredding all his papers, the relief just washed over me, and the chap, who had been helping us look for her, didn't mind at all.
