I've Tried Everything To Fix This

Since reverting back to my original name on here ( Bobbisox)1 I've gone to my profile and unchecked subscribe,however I'm still getting loads of mail when someone else is answering a post I've been involved in, I've scrolled to the bottom of each email and clicked on the link to unsubscribe, still they keep coming, is there anything else I can do to stop this please?

Hans - You don't have to stay logged into your AB email address. Log out of it and you'd get no notifications.

my original email to register on ab is defunct as I cant remember my password. Ive changed my email since, so no replies to new email.

To avoid thread replies, dont ask questions

Hans is correct in my opinion. There is seems to be a technical problem at AB Towers and my guess is that the AB team don't think it warrants any action. Am I right, Ed? Edit My Profile just doesn't work. I've asked Ed about it via email using the queries box in the bottom RH corner; followed the instructions as directed, but had no reply...etc. etc. I could go on, but I am still unable to Edit My Profile. Good innit? What say you, Ed?

No. We will look into it.

It also looks like there is a problem with the contact form not sending to our email address, so we will look into this as soon as possible. In the meantime, please email [email protected] or post in the Editor's Blog if you need anything.

Hi all,
The contact form is working again. I've had a look at the profiles and I don't have a problem with changing any profile information. If you are having problems, please make sure that you are entering your password at the bottom of the screen before you save, and that if you are trying to change your email address, you have entered your new email address into both required boxes and that they match exactly.

G'afternoon Ed.......I am still unable to satisfactorily alter my profile information.

I don't normally 'log-out' from AB but, to test matters, I have just done so to ensure that I know my correct password, which is required to alter my Profile.

However, my favourite food still remains as my username......HansUrbancka'............Perhaps I should think up a recipe and publish it in AB. ( Something with very little spoon stirring)

Hi Ed and I'm still getting clogged up mail saying I'm subscribed when I'm not

I have just completed alterations in my Profile, as follows :-

(1)Wish....Answerbank was less problematic.
(2) Favourite food.... (Instead of HansUrbancka).. Thought
(3)Joke.....Trying to alter my Profile.

Needless to say....Nothing happened.

No doubt Ed will have another word with her Techies and comment further on the issue concerned.
