Lankeela, I would be very worried about a dog choking if it managed to get the batteries out of a remote. Can't you keep it where it can be reached by you but not by the dog/s?
For me it wasn't his voice as such, but the way he delivered what he had to say - short bursts of speech with long pauses inbetween. Very strange. I did find the programme interesting though.
