Davina McCall is a reasonably popular TV presenter who has chosen to tan and exercise her body so that she looks like a badly packed sandbag - why does this paper make such a deal out of her and her 'fabulous' physique?

It is quite simple. McCall exactly fits the Mail’s demographic readership. She appeals to older men, and is admired by older women. She is a former model, and is still interested in looking good, and sharing photographs of herself, which the Mail can use (probably for Free!) so it is a win win situation for everyone.
