bbc thriller church arson 1980s

tyring to find name of bbc multi-episode thriller from definately pre-90s , so around early 80s i reckon, it used to come on around 9.30pm it ran for 1 series and was about a detective hunting a church serial arsonist

Hi tali,

Have been racking my grey matter on this one. Thought at first it sounded like a P D James - Inspector/Chief Superintendant/Commander Dagleish type thriller, but do not recall arson being the main, although plenty of her stories centre around the church. In fact all Dagleish stories have church/religious undertones.

Sorry unable to help, I will be interested as to the thriller you are referring to.
