Muted the video at the top of the page, some states have no gestational limit.
Would be nice if there was a consensus on limits, doubt there ever will be tho.

Yes... the problem is that many seem to go with "heartbeat" as significant... without apparent awareness that a foetal heart only beats when pushed by the mother's.
The only clear line, surely, is when a foetus is able theoretically to survive outside somebody else's body? Before then, it is part of somebody else.

Ah, thanks spice. So that is when the mother's life is at risk or the foetus is unlikely to survive long. That wasn't clear on your first posts x

Maybe the aBBC doesn't mention it but the mother's 'mental health' comes into the equation as well.
In the US you can buy any opinion you want.
What kind of opinions do you think abortion clinics pay for?

It's not worth taking seriously the idea that mental health would be an excuse for a baby to be born and then killed after birth. That would be classed as murder. Suggesting that it is being made legal is quite simply wrong, let alone irresponsible.

I don't understand, spice? Clearly, the mental health of the mother is essential for a baby. I have no idea who would pay for what, or why. Only the mother will know if she is willing and able to raise and take responsibility for a child for the rest of her life. Can you clarify please? X
