...I didn’t mean to and can’t find it, HELP!
Was about to reply to an email on my iPad when I noticed a bit of something on the screen so wiped it to the left with my finger, and accidentally swiped the email left too, and now it’s disappeared.
It’s not in junk or trash or anywhere else. How do I get it back or is it gone forever? I’d be sooo grateful if anyone can help me.

I just did Spathphyllium, and it’s not there, in fact there’s nothing there.
While it might not be saved somewhere within your iPad's email app, it might well still be on your email provider's website. Open Safari (or whichever other browser you use), go to your email provider's website and log in there (so that you're using webmail, rather than a dedicated mail app). You'll hopefully find your email there somewhere.

I’ve nothing at all like that Bobbisox, no lines and no history.
As beunchico says, the Gmail app is much harder to navigate, in my experience, than the Gmail website.

Open Gmail in a browser, or better yet, on a computer or laptop. The message will be somewhere, it must be!
Sorry actually buen.. that's not what you said at all.
Are you using an Apple iPad Vagus?

Well Ive tried all of those things and it’s not appearing anywhere. I had no idea I could sideswipe something and get rid of it so completely.
Fortunately the email was from a cousin so I’ll just email her and ask her to resend it, it was a long and complicated email that requires a lot of thought so I really need to view it to reply properly.
Thank you for all your help people.
It will still be in her "sent" folder, so that's not a bad idea. It won't be much effort for her to simply copy and paste it to you, or forward it to you again.
