I agree with Satbir Singh, but not for the same reason I hastily add, it is the Government's fault, for their laxed attitude to this increasing problem. Parliament can bring in overnight laws so as to delay us coming out of Europe but seem hesitant to address this problem.
But then it is not only the politicians it is also the media. On LBC radio they were inviting illegal immigrants to phone in with their hardship tales on how they got into this country, promising them total immunity against recognition.
One such person (although now a British citizen) phoned in to give his story on how he illegally got into this country, he apparently traveled across Europe from Africa and then hid himself under a lorry bound for England, by holding onto the vehicle's axle, oh you poor thing was the presenter's response.
Anyone who enters this country illegally should not be given British citizenship but should be interned in a secure immigration camp until such arrangements can be made, and as regards methods of reducing such illegal entrants, two simple methods could be employed, make all large vehicles drive through a trough of water to bring to the surface those hiding underneath and for vehicle to be weighed and any increase in weight investigated.
