Theland, I did ask this question on the thread in News, but I think it deserves a separate discussion -

As a Christian I am assuming that you follow the belief that God has a 'plan' for each of us.

What do you believe is his 'plan' for the victims of the recently deceased paedophile who has been murdered in prison?

Sorry, last post was to Pixie, not Naomi
I know Mozz and I agree. Not the best.
Oh well ... I answered anyway ... and I still agree.
Mozz... personally, I see a difference with an argument- which is exchanging different opinions- or a row... where people lose their tempers resort to name-calling, etc.
I also think that if you are willing to air your views, you should also be able to defend them if necessary.
... and... if you are ask somebody about their own personal beliefs, how can anything be "unanswerable"?
People know what they think.
Thanks Naomi. :-)
But how can anyone, believer or not, claim to know what the unknown plans of the chosen deity may be? To answer definitively is extraordinary arrogance, and to expect a concrete answer from someone is ridiculous.
I wouldn't expect anyone to know- unless they have chosen a deity. In which case, they obviously will, or what are they believing in and agreeing with?
It sounds as though you are expecting people to follow and worship something they don't understand? I have more trust in people than that x
" We're all here for discussion, but demanding an answer to an unanswerable question about faith is a bit much."
We should be used to it, Theland does it all the time.
What am I doing all the time?
Hi Theland. Saying you have proof of gods existence but never give any. Please do not say again, it is in the bible.

That piece of fiction has no credibility whatsoever.
" What am I doing all the time?"

Don't you like presenting your opinions and explaining why you hold them?
