wee smell

My grandson has tipped a pot of wee over the bedroom carpet. It's polypropylene with a felt backing. Despite using Vanish, the smell of wee still remains. Any ideas how to remove it please?

You can buy special stuff in the pet shop that deodorises the smell of wee.

Old people hide the smell with Lavender ...you could try that.

I know its not a nice smell, but it will go, just try to disguise it until then, naz's suggestion sounds good.

you could try sprinkling liberally with bicarb and leaving overnight then hoovering up. it will probably take a few goes though.
