I've been sitting here for the last two and a half hours now trying to decide weather to go to town, it gets darker every time I look out the window, and colder, and by the time I get to the top of the road near town, the roads will be choca block, so is it worth it?? OR shall I say ***, and go and rub my shoulder of lamb with oil garlic and herbs, and pop in the oven on slow, and stuff my face silly tonight.Leave the trip until Monday, when the masses have gone back to work. ????
If you don't really have to go, far better to leave it till Monday when hopefully it will be quieter ! I have to go out no matter what the weather to dog walk, but I don't mind.
Sounds like a good plan to me.
So grey here today have put my daylight lamp on here beside me.
Not sure about effectiveness yet though. Still feeling pretty miserable.
The shoulder of lamb option sounds good to me. I'm also off to the kitchen with garlic, tomatoes and mince (may add red wine if I don't just drink it!)
That's it lamb is in, the smell of garlic and herbs is already wafting around the house. The only problem now is come 7/8pm tonight I shall feel lazy for not going out and getting some exercise. :0( no pleasing some.
I'M of exactly the same mind, Teacake. Too wet, too cold too far.
I grabbed a few bits from the petrol station to tide me over the weekend and plan to do battle will the traffic etc on Monday.
