TBH I can’t stand Soubry and can well understand someone wanting to punch her lights out but in the real world it is not recommended by people of any persuasion.

They should all expect a bit of heckling and robust pushback otherwise they live in a bubble echo chamber but violence and intimidation is uncalled for.

But if anyone in the public sphere has their feelings hurt by being shouted at or called manes then I’m afraid I lose all sympathy.

I'm still a remainer, but I certainly don't consider myself a traitor to anyone or anything.

I have however, given up the fight and will take absolutely no pleasure if I am "proven right when Boris's Brexit breaks Britain". I hope I am proven wrong and my child inherits a stronger UK because of it.

Remainers aren't "traitors". Anyone who voted for what they believed best, couldn't be called that. Although there have been a handful since, wanting to overrule a referendum.

Exactly... and have done from the start, really. I wouldn't and won't use the word "traitor", but having seen how a few fight against democracy, it does become more understandable, why others might do.

The charge is not levelled so much at those who disagree with exiting, everyone is entitled to be wrong occasionally, but at those who won't accept and support the nation's decision but instead actively act to keep our country under EU control; and by their dissent give succour to the external elite running the EU.

remainers voted for what they think is best for the country they are not traitors by default. They do however become traitors when they scheme and collaborate to do their best to ignore the democratic choice of the people like the Quislings in the commons over the last 3 years. Those and wretched people like Gina Miller et al are the traitors.

Boris isn't going to break Britain - of course not, he is but one of a large group that just exceeds 50% at the last count ("democracy" and all that). But that does not ensure Britain won't break...... Time will tell.
