A lovely friend of my sister aged 75 and very disabled was mugged in a mall just before Xmas. She had just lifted £500 from her bank and was robbed.

She was telling me that she will get £400 back. I just wondered what kind of insurance has she taken out. Thanks

Yes likely to be house insurance, less £100 excess but what a shame she was carrying £500 in cash. Poor lady was clearly watched and a fairly obvious target for such bar stewards.

thanks for your answers to Barry and May - you're right - she had been watched. A lovelier lady you couldn't meet in your lifetime. She was 75 as I have said and the hubby who is constantly by her side - 86 and still a hunk (good looking) but had left her for some minutes to go outside.
