BBC 1 at 9am this morning, and every morning this week.
Dreadful.
Acid attack on a young lady, plotted by an ex boyfriend who got 12 years, but tha actual attacker only got 4 years and out in 2.

appalling, he should have got a lot longer.
don't what's wrong with our so called justice system, it seems to favour the assailant.
Judges should be made to retire like the rest of us!

As far as I know, merely carrying a knife carries a maximum sentence of five years.
What a joke!
What we get is a police caution and released to go and stab some poor victim.
The USA have the right idea, fifty years in a max prison.
£40,000 per year per prisoner in the UK?
Ridiculous?
What would happen in a war if we had to take in many P.O.W.'s?
A field surrounded with barbed wire, no visits, no calls home, minimal food, and terrified to ever go back.
Terrified to ever join them.
What makes the do gooders tick?
As a start, why not abolish reduced sentences, and add more time for disruption?
And in the meantime, society is shut of theses scum.
