baby screaming when sleeping

I asked my docotr about this , he said its quite normal... but soemtimes my son will cry out when sleeping, he is 7 months old, he will wail a high pitch scream, but continue sleeping.. whats that all about?

it could be the early on set of night terrors, when kids have nightmares they dont remember and scream aloud in their sleep.
You have spoken to your gp so i dont think its anything to worry about unless it was waking your son.
Must scare the life out of you though!

you have my sympathy, doomey. my little girl used to do this. She sounded like she was suddenly in terrible pain. i worried myself sick that she had something wrong with her. the gp reassured me it would stop and that she was only dreaming. And he was right!
I hope just knowing someone else has experienced this helps. x

Hello i,am 67 jears old, and i,am doing the same thing lately. i can assure jou it is dreaming only, because the screaming out after wakes me up and i can remember what i was dreaming about. me and my husband often laugh about it. so dont worry.
