Friday. Frost outside this morning. I hope it warms up quickly. A lot of running around to do today, so I'll be out for most of it...unless I change my mind of course! :o}

The sun is over the hill, so the frost will soon be gone.

I don't think the heron has taken any fish though, not since I covered the pond with floating plastic protector 'things'. They're quite unobtrusive and much better than ugly netting and other methods of protection. Also allows other wildlife to make good use of the pond.

Trouble is DTC they probably scare other wildlife. I did investigate a bespoke infrared beam system linked to a sound blaster but it worked out very expensive so chose the cheaper option - which I have to say seems to have done the trick.
