What picture books would you recommend for a 9-month baby girl?

not sure this is a help but they were recommended for 1 year olds...

Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown.
Hop on Pop by Dr. Seuss.
My first 100 Words.
Ten Little Fingers and Ten Little Toes by Mem Fox.
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.
Guess How Much I Love You by Sam McBratney.
Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell.
Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.

At that age an Argo s catalogue can be fun, no worries if little hands shred it and she can point to things , to be named that she recognises

Rowan that works. We gave ours old catalogues to look at, they had hours of fun with them.

The mr men books are great but the stories are quite long. I would suggest anything by Julia Donaldson, lovely illustration and rhyming stories

We started ours with 'Ant and Bee' do they still exist I wonder, not forgetting, kind dog.

Right, seems like Mr Men is mainly for 3-4 yr olds to learn emotion controls, but worth buying in advance anyways. Quite fancy Oliver Jeffers and Julia's style so far.
