Copying DVD/RW

Everytime I try to copy a DVD/RW(D) to my DVDR/W drive(E) using Nero I get a message saying Wrong Disk in drive,should be CD-RW. I have tried DVD+ and DVD- Disks to no avail. Anyone help? Many Thanks.

It could be a number of things. Copy protection, for example. Exactly what are you trying to copy? Also it could be the configuration of the drives, that is the master-slave settings. It can be a real minefield, but a bit more information might narrow it down a bit.

Thank you for reply,upforit,but I am only copying a DVD I recorded from the TV. I have had no problems in the past but the thing that is puzzling me is: Why CD-RW Disk when it is a DVD Rewriter?
