Cauliflower Cheese

And Thai style fish cakes tonight.
The cauliflower is as big as a cannonball and probably weighs the same. We wouldn’t normally buy one this big but it was the only one available.
So tonight it’s with the fish cakes, and the leftovers, of which I’m sure there will be at least half, will be polished off tomorrow with our local butchers old English sausages.
Waste not want not.

Blitz some of the cauli for cauliflower rice, and freeze.

Strangely, cauliflowers were the one veg that Waitrose didn't have on Wednesday....none at all. Everything else was piled high!

I'm allergic to cheese to wouldn't eat it anyway but last week I had a roast dinner delivered by a local pub and guess what was one of the vegetables! Yes cauliflower cheese!!! Why fgs would you put cheese on a roast dinner?

This is the first one we’ve seen for a while ginge, it’s a real beauty!

The last two pub Sunday roasts..now distant memories.. had cauliflower cheese with them. I actually enjoy it with a roast but can see why you wouldn’t.
