The time has come to give it a go.
He’s a large size cockapoo, very lively, three years old.
We intend to bath him in the garden on the warmest day next week.

Will he not go in the river?
I bath Loka in the bath or even the shower, mind you she’s a very small Cockapoo

Are the grooming salons closed?
Always do mine outside buckets of warm water and a jug with towels to hand
they are in my village tilly

Yep, all groomers closed. Even if they were open I don’t think I’d be taking him there to be honest.
He loves going in the river but comes out smelling worse than when he went in.
Martin, if this doesn’t work out then that’ll be the next attempt.
My friend is a dog groomer and turns up in her mobile dog beauty parlour. She has been advised that even if she doesn't enter homes there are still risks, so she has stopped working. I have just bought this. Amazon.co.uk User Recommendation .
She nowv looks like a Rastafarian and really needs sorting out!
I have bathed a GSD outside in very warm weather but would normally use the bath unless very warm.
