I grew tired of waiting for our hedgehog(s) to rediscover our feeding station, so yesterday we laid two Hansel and Gretel-esq food trails from last year’s entry points to our garden to the feeding station. Went out just before bed (at stupid o’clock) for a ciggie and I could hear one munching, so waited for him/her and a lovely, fat hedgehog finally appeared after filling its face. Think it was one of last year’s visitors as it walked through the water dish (like one of last year’s used to). Hoping to see at least one more tonight but I’m not going to stay up so late so might miss them.

How lovely. I havent seen a hedgehog round here for a couple of years but we will put food out in hope.

I was surprised by how big and fat it was, you could hear it’s spines scraping through the entrance to the feeding station. It was about 3 foot away from me as the feeding station is out in the open.
