I don;t trust the Chinese figures at the best of times, this looks like a sure way to start the whole thing off again to me. TBF I like their smartphone idea for tracking etc, I suspect this is where we are all heading.

Dread to think what is on the menu.

they are just talking about the app on their phones on sky at the moment. Sounds good, I think the whole world will end up adopting it, though there are implications for civil liberties.

here's an article:

I know there are huge implications for civil liberties etc but I think for most of us it's a price worth paying.
Wasn't planning on going there anyway.

it'll probably be what happens here OG that's the point. They are ahead of us in the timeline, what happens there is what will happen here.
Well, probably good for the rest of us that somewhere else beta tests it first.

I don't believe for one minute they have only had 3000 deaths. Wuhan can party like its 1999 as far as I'm concerned, as long as none of them are allowed to travel outside of China for the foreseeable future.
Have you actually read the posts, allen? eg 10:18 and 10:22?
I wouldn't trust any information provided by the Chinese government.
They may well have just decided that after three months, people need to get back to work.
It will be a good test to see If you can lift restrictions early... The rest of the world can watch and learn
No neither would I.
What do you expect them to do?
At some point they need to start living again
Well yes ichkeria, exactly. Which is why i wouldn't trust the figures. Everyone staying at home is unsustainable economically for any lengthy period, so at some point we'll all need to get on with it whether it's safe to do so or not.
TTT .. ''it'll probably be what happens here OG that's the point. They are ahead of us in the timeline''

You don't need a special app .. it's already here.

If you are use an Android phone.
Open up Google maps..
Click on account (top right)
Click on .. Your Timeline (fourth on list)

From here you can look at your movements in the past and see where, when and for how long you were doing what ever you were doing .. big brother is already in your pocket !
You can no longer tell fibs about where you have been.
Most people aren't even aware that it's on their phone.
