Maxie is getting pretty bad with his coat and so I was thinking I could maybe try to get some fur of him.

I was going to order clippers from Ebay - can anybody tell me what to look out for.

Also have noticed I can buy a dog restraint harness (just to get groomed) tho

Have a look at Mars groomers on ebay JJ, they may do the job for you. Not cheap but they keep my Cockers trim.
There are some cheaper copies but I havn't tried them.

do you mean Dulux (paint) dog Bobbs - Maxie is the same.

I have looked at Ebay and they won't be able to deliver for another week or so.

I have a haunch one of my nephews isn't too bad with the clippers so may give him a ring.
I’ve cut a few curls away above her eyes x

yea - it can be dangerous especially if they "jump". That's all I managed too
I think it’s more the sound of the scissors rather than actually hurting them JJ, Lola was not impressed seeing the curls in OHs hands, she looked as if to say “ Put them back on please” lol
No don't expect they can at the moment.
Question Author
if his beard gets any longer I'm going to call him Maxie Christmas. x
Question Author
have given him a beautiful warm bath and shower and think he feels good too - he's all excited running down the stairs and out the back to shake himself off.
