Bit of a coincidence the last contestant of the week wins £100,000.

Standard TV scheduling practice. Same reason that the Bullseye contestants always used to win the car in the week running up to Xmas.
I know from experience that shows are not always broadcast in the sequence they were recorded.
Really? If the contestant had taken one second longer in one of her answers, she would have lost.
An excellent win.
Bradley said it was the last of the week at the end of the show.
Good editing.

Fun show. I like it. Not too much chat, extrovert contestants, rapid turnover. I don’t believe all the “supposed” asides between the Chasers, though.
Pity you had to announce the result. I recrded it and was going to watch it tomorrow.
I didnt see it because I was watching Gogglebox on the other side tonight.
So why did you click on the thread?
I was expecting them to say whether it was a good episode tonight, or not, and what they thought of the various contestants., not the final result.
Weird crew though, the Chasers.

Hope they don't pass the tipping point and morph into eggheads though.
grumpy01 forgot to put up a spoiler alert warning, simple as that.
never mind.

Why a spoiler when the programme has aired?
On re-reading, one too many 'though' in there.
Down the years, I have noticed that whenever a quiz show returns to our screens for a new 'run', the contestant(s) would almost always win big in episode one. Obviously done to whet the viewers appetite for episode two.
I find it hard to believe they recognise previous quizzers from so many years ago and I don't believe the Sinnerman made that rap up just there and then. I've been recording it and just whizzing through to where they ask the questions.
I agree Barsel.
Of course they dont remember people, the researchers tell them beforehand.
Very odd programming. On Thursday while interviewing contestant number one a lady was in the background in a pink jumper.

she was there for contestants two and three then for contestant four she was gone and a middle aged man around forty then for the next one , an older gentleman with glasses then finally nobody. A very clever cutting prog. with many of the chasers knowing the contestants.
A lot easier to win on the evening show than the afternoon show
