is another way of using up bananas past their best. I’m going to give snowballs banana cake recipe a go though.
Chop bananas into chunks and freeze. Blitz thoroughly in food processor until very creamy. Make sure you do this for long enough or it won’t go creamy and you’ll be disappointed with the result. Add anything you fancy to it, or nothing, put into freezable container and into freezer until you want it.
Very simple, very nice and relatively healthy as it only contains bananas.

Ooh sounds good!!
So you add nothing to the bananas??

No, just frozen bananas, and it really is nice. But you do have to whizz it till it goes creamy. First time I made it, I didn’t do it for long enough and although it was nice, it was far nicer the second time.
After you’ve whizzed it till it’s just like ice cream you can add anything you want, choc chips, crunchy bits and bobs, anything.
Give it a go, I’m sure you’ll like it. I have a bag of frozen banana chunks in the freezer which I keep adding to, till Ive got enough to make it worthwhile getting the food processor out.
I'd probably add some cream to it...just to make sure it's creamy. ;))

I’ve just made this.
I needed to put a few tablespoons of milk in to loosen it up, and as I had an opened carton of Elmlea, I added some of that too, maybe four tablespoons.
I reckon there were about eight bananas, maybe more, in frozen chunks and it’s made almost two litres.
It’s blooming lovely.
Def going to try this!!
