far far away, darth. if you are in fact talking about the speed of sound. for light in vacuum it's actually 300 000 m/s. which is 45 gazillion BTU/(squareinch * stone* ABMRT), as you all know, i'm sure. as to the question: if you read the foucault pendulum by umberto eco, im sure you will find some kind of significance for 3,000,000 as well as for all the other numbers in the universe. kind of a weirdo, that guy.
