Yasmeen In Corrie

For those that have been following the story of Yasmeen & Geoff.
I am getting a little exasperated with Yasmeen. Is this normal behaviour??
I thought she would be putting her case forward instead she is still pining for the monster that abused her.

Because apparently that is what a lot of victims do - they still see the abuser as the victim - no, me neither.

Stockholm Syndrome is very similar and just as unfathomable to those who have never experienced such as situation as the victims

Isn't it sometimes the case that the victims blames themselves ?
"I provoked him. He wouldn't have done it otherwise. "

Sally and Eileen seem to be thinking Yasmeen is the victim.
Maybe the other women who 'attacked Geoff' will be contacted.

I worked with a young woman in this situation. Her chap also worked in the office and used to come and see her at lunchtime, she would visibly shake when he walked in but would say, it wasn't his fault, she was just being silly etc. It was awful to see but nothing we said or did made any difference, it took him punching their little girl to make her see sense, contact the police and make him leave.

I bet she will be charged, convicted, go to prison before they find the camera in that immaculate, clean house and she's released.

I think most of that is quite likely to happen Darcey. But, Sally is suspicious that all may not be as it seems but doesn't want to upset Tim. Perhaps she'll start voicing her concern to others.
Another thing, Geoff has been viewing the film of Yasmeen in the house on a computer. If the police start looking won't they see the footage as well?

I watched a programme the other day (either escape to the country or a place in the sun, they all blend into one after a while) and the husband was very controlling of his wife, everywhere they walked he had his arm round her waist and was pushing her forward and guiding her, she hardly said a word and when something was mentioned about them liking 'minimalist' houses he basically said she hoards stuff but he chucks everything out. I felt uncomfortable watching it and definitely got the impression that he was the 'master' in that relationship.

And on his phone. Police still haven't searched the house.

The camera may well not have been recording anything at all - he was probably just viewing 'live' footage of what she was up to. It wouldn't be recording all the time - where would the footage be stored?

But surely SOCO thoroughly searched the house?

brainiac, my cameras record to 'the cloud'. I can log on from anywhere in the world, on any device, and view recordings and live footage.

I didn't know that, barry - but why would he want to record anything? He must know it would incriminate him.

If he finds out after the event that Yasmeen has done something, maybe had a visitor, he might want to check out a recording to see and hear what was going on.
