He's currently President of World Athletics but, for obvious reasons, there aren't that many athletics competitions taking place at the moment. He's also involved with the organisation of the 2020 Olympic Games (which will now be held next year but will still be called the '2020 Games' anyway) but, once again, there's probably not much for him to do in that respect at the moment.
He seems not to have contributed to the work of the House of Lords for the past decade, apart from speaking on the subject of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Bill a couple of times last year.
I've served on a committee with Seb Coe, as well as meeting him socially at various functions. I sometimes found him a bit hard to get on with though, simply because we were much too alike (even though I'm rubbish at athletics!). We're both good at organising things but we both very definitely like them to be organised in our own way and not in anyone else's!
