Does anyone know what the policy is on stopping and turning people back now?

Youngest has a few days leave and wants to come and visit but is concerned that she will be stopped and told to go back to London on her way here. Obviously she will not be looking for accommodation as she will stay with me. But she does not want to have the cost and time of driving quite a distance and then being told to return to London.

Please does anyone know what the policy is now? We have a lot of visitors down here at the moment and I suppose they are mostly second home owners. Can't see this as being any different from staying with family.

Well she decided not to come as she has been getting very tired since having the virus. She works nights and so her time here would be curtailed with the time she needs to rest and then get back to work. I assured her that eh day and a half were not necessary for my well-being.

Was probably the right decision LJ, there’ll be a time when we can hug our girls freely in the future ....and we will x

Thanks Bobbie. She is such a help to me when she does come.
I doubt the police have the time to go investigating every possible breach. Just act sensible, minimise risk. She is unlikely to receive attention.

Yes OG I realise that but she would be here for such a short time and as she has been getting tired I don't want her to be put under any pressure and affect her health and work.
