Stanley Johnson has applied to become a French citizen (his mother was born in Versailles). He's doing this "so that his grandchildren can live and work in the EU after Brexit".
What a shame Stanley's son Boris Johnson has removed these rights from the rest of us, and from our children and grandchildren.
Still, at least they will have "blue passports" and chlorinated chicken to boost their spirits as they contemplate their much more limited horizons.
"What a shame Stanley's son Boris Johnson has removed these rights from the rest of us, and from our children and grandchildren. " - there was me thinking it was the democratic majority that voted for brexit. Bojo has merey implemented that choice.
marginal that the referendum was (never mind the regional differences as to Scotland/Wales and N.Ireland - until the election......compromise is necessary to achieve something workable -unless folk want to see more violence on the street.....
Peter // It will just go back to how it was before -they will have to apply for a Visa or Green Card.//
then they dont have a right then, do they ? duuurrrr //
UK citizens have a right to a British passport -they still have to apply for one though don't they? …...duuuurrrr!
So; how come they can't they work in the EU, or anywhere else on the planet, after Brexit, unless he's French ? Did Stanley uncover some plot unknown to the rest of us (apart from Maggie, possibly).
