Hello anyone here work at a gp practice? I have a question about the nhs computer system used for notes etc, prescriptions, appts etc at the gp Thanks in advance

which system, in my hospital we use a system called Medway for hospital appointments within our local trust or Summary care to find anyone in the uk to get their details and NHS number for making appointments.

It’s the system gps use that’s called EMIS abd there’s another one too (but I can’t recall what that’s called)

What I want to know is if a gp sends an electronic note to a receptionist / nurse (for eg) asking them to action something - how will the
Gp know it’s been actioned? Wlll it alert the gp once done or will the gp have to check manually?
Not sure about that but im sure there are some Doctors receptionists on here.
