a commission for someone who is leaving for Oz....the cottage is actually rendered in smooth grey plaster and faces east - however I think it would be too 'oppressive' to shade in all the right-facing exterior. Interestingly so, a mount around it this morning, even a grubby old one at this time, positioned the drawing much better and led the eye in.....my suggestion, a little tongue in cheek, will be to take the grey through the mount - with an under-mount too.....
