Saturday. From wall to wall sunshine yesterday to wall to wall cloud this morning. No rain though, according to my wee Kindle weather app, so I'll risk washing on the line. If it rains it'll get an extra rinse.
Not much to do today, so might have lunch out. Then again I might not. We'll see.
Have a happy day everyone.

No, he has a wife who will need support too LJ
When my daddy was ill he just wanted his family around him not his friends
Oh dear that sounds a bit sad Bobbie.

MM : some friends are closer than family and some folk don't have any family left. It was that your daddy could choose. I once spent quite a lot of time with a friend and her partner when he was dying. She said it helped both her and her partner. Especially as he wasn't close to any of his family.
My father used to say that some people are just ‘professional mourners’ they come out and feast whenever there is sadness about.
I never understood what he meant but in the last year I can see what he was on about.
It is always harder for family and close friends as they are the ones who have lost some one they love.

Off now to get on with little tasks.
They've never had a family LJ
