I loved him as DS Hathaway, but he seems to have gone a bit weird.
With his own political party promoting a rather confused set of ideas.

//His thinking is very similar to my thinking and you think I have a closed mind. It stands to reason you think the same about him.//

Jesus wept, are you appointing yourself spokesman for all like minded people? I've not spoken to this person, so I can't accuse him of anything based on a tweet.

//Well, unless you are scared to say anything about a black person?//

Nope, if a black person was acting like a prat, I'd call them a prat. Race os irrelevant.

//Sainsbury's don't even have a black mannequin.//

I've not seen too many mannequins of any colour in Sainsburys. You're fishing now ain'tcha?
// Laurence Fox went on a bizarre Twitter rant yesterday (Sunday October 4th), reportedly calling an actress and a charity boss “pedophiles”.

This prompted the 42-year-old Lewis star to delete his tweets //
And? TwitFace is the tool of the devil.
its tool.....no better or worse than a hammer or a pen.

He seems to be a nasty piece of work. Either he's accusing people of being paedophiles without basis (and in the actress' case, trying to actively destroy her career) or he knows something and should go to the correct authorities. I think he could be finding himself with a few lawsuits fairly soon.
Sounds rather like he's having another breakdown.
Has his work dried up since ‘Lewis’ ended?
I can see he’s made 1 film since 2011. His latest TV series ‘White Lines’ just got cancelled by NetFlix.

Perhaps he has too much idle time on his hands, as well as a ‘Freedom’ tattoo.
He did some live theatre then tried to get a music career going but the label he signed with went under and he sunk a load of his own money into trying to keep going. https://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrity-news/laurence-fox-forced-bail-out-21407772

His music wasn't bad but it was all so blooming depressing.
Mamya I did wonder....
He certainly seems to have crossed the line from eccentric into the bizarre just now.
I wonder who gave him £5 million to set up the Reclaim Party ?
I rarely patronise Sainsbury's anyway and when I tried to shop there last year I found a lot of gaps in my shopping list (although their clothes were good). I bought a newspaper there this year, to pay for using their parking space for 20 mins., so it won't trouble me to boycott them. If I used it as a supermarket I probably would boycott it for a few weeks.

As David Mitchell points out, tattooing your hand is a bad move for an actor
I much prefer to shop at Waitrose darlings.
Blackberries matter.
I think he's an absolute tool, but the point he was trying to make when calling people paedophiles is that they were calling him a racist first. His "defence" would be "You call me unproven nasty names, I call you unproven nasty names."
maybe, Ellipsis, but there is some basis for calling him a racist, even if it's thought to be an inadequate one. Is there any basis at all for calling his accusers paedophiles, or is it just the rudest word he could think of?

It's also, as Mozz suggests, potentially a very dodgy one legally.
> there is some basis for calling him a racist

Not in his mind, which he believes is all that counts.

It turns out I think, that the “space for black people” was a message board
