CLUES ONLY - as requested by the setter.
Answers are British place names, within the name is something that can be found in town or country. (Clues are cryptic, general knowledge or anagrams)
I'm stuck on a few of these - any help appreciated. CLUES ONLY.
5. No Through Road!! (7,3)
I have an idea for this one - there was a train derailment in 2002.
22. The clergy are annoyed (11)
24. Small, round, green vegetable, quench your thirst (8)
Have looked for places with pea and drink but no luck
31. Shoved plus pass away (9)
32. Connects table, sea & rock plus Random-access memory (7)
I've got an answer for this but its not a place - its a house. 1st part is something that is used on the roads in winter, 2nd part is the shorter version of the last part of the clue.
41. Peel, a level surface plus a point (9)
42. A windbreak (3-2-5)
Have seen a clue given for this a but couldn't figure it out. Have searched for places -on- and -by-
Help.

Sorry if you are finding the quiz difficult but if quizzes are too easy, then the end result just becomes a raffle as everyone would get 100% correct.
I appreciate some will view this differently but I do not find any enjoyment in receiving a quiz which can be completed in a couple of hours even though I still purchase to support the charity.

Thank you Hazlinny & Fairlight for your nice comments.
My post wasn't meant to be derisive towards grumpy01, just my personal view. With regards to the comment of prize money, I would just like to say that I donate the cash prizes myself along with paper and printing costs so Buxton Mountain Rescue receive 100% of quiz sales.
