Please help with parsing of 5 down.Clue is:What shows highs and lots of plot to remove the old guard? 6,3 letters.I have R?L?E? M?P.It looks like the answer is RELIEF MAP.How does it parse?

I doubt I am anywhere near this but I wondered if there was a typo for 'lows' - the last part is tough but it's called a 'relief' when they change the Guard.

A relief shows highs and lows and to map can mean to plot.
'Relief' is the term geographers use to describe the shape of the land, including the height and steepness.
