Open tin, decent contents into Pyrex dish. Sprinkle nutmeg, cinnamon and a little brown sugar over top. Pop in oven until hot and brown under grill.
Served in a pudding bowl.
Got to be in the oven with condensed milk although I've never made it ( shameful) my Mam made the best till it had brown skin on it, I can taste it now
One in the oven at the moment, 100g pudding rice, 25g caster sugar, tsp nutmeg, 700ml whole milk. Grease 1.5 litre dish with 15g unsalted butter, mix rice, sugar, nutmeg in dish, add milk, mix thoroughly, into oven at 160c (fan 140) for 1:45, check and if not quite done give it another 15 mins
½ cup of risotto rice, pint of full fat milk small tin of evaporated milk, two tablespoons caster sugar, nutmeg, heat the milk to boiling, put rice in slow cooker add milk and sugar stir cook on low setting stirring once after an hour. Then leave cooking for another hour for whitish rice pudding or do what I do and leave it for a total of four hours by which time the milk and sugar have turned to a thick fudgy sauce
