I have said this before. When its said that someone has got xxx amount of money its not a big pile of readies sat there, its the value of what they own in terms of shares, companies and so on. The bloke in your link actually gave shares away, not cash. by having those companies and investments, they provide jobs, internships and apprenticeships, products, loans to other companies, reasearch and so on.
