Boxing day. I hope everyone had a happy day yesterday. I had a quiet one, just what I wanted! :o} I'd like today to be the same.
I've got a wee bit of running around to do, but I won't be out too long, I'll be back to my cosy nest as soon as possible.

Have a happy day everyone.

LJ, feel wrong for being like this. On his morning thread or any other,
No, me neither... but it happens. Anyone who has had it badly once, is more likely to have it return. But it does at least mean you are more likely to recognise the symptoms and can stop it in its tracks quicker. I was misdiagnosed constantly for around 7 months. I'll always be grateful to the one female doctor, who recognised, explained and treated it properly.
just popped in to see what had gone on..and I am SO pleased you have taken that step emmie...you really are a daft wee sausage if you think anyone minds that you have derailed anything at all... of course you have not..you need a wee bit help and thank goodness you spoke up and let us cyberpush you..just made that word up..the crisis team will also leave a telephone number for you to call whenever you feel bad..but tomorrow will be about talking..please do NOT hold back..they have heard it ALL before.... and do not feel bad or embarrassed ..it is so important you get sorted out soonest ..xx
No need to feel like that. You have some very caring friends on here who only want what is best for you and how you are at the moment is not best for you.
now you've taken the first steps things will only get better. I went into the village this morning and only saw about 4/5 people. no one I knew and that gets very lonely but you have to keep in touch. One of the most out-going people in the village (nickname Lively) committed suicide earlier this year because he could not cope. so sad as no one knew how he felt. don't get like that please. talk to us, be a bit of a bother. it is what makes the world go round and gives us something to 'discuss/chat about/whatever'. don't you agree?
hi Minty - are you still having a jimmy jammy day?
You will recognise it next time and it won't be this bad, it is harder when you are on your own someone who lives with you will pick up on it before you do. We are similar ages, and it's so common as to be almost normal nowadays. Think about it logically.... You are on your own, have problems with pain, anxiety about Covid, in tier 4, etc etc, your mind is behaving in response to sustained threats.

I have always held that the GMEB thread is the equivalent of neighbours in a village. Unlike in our fragmented society if someone is struggling or goes missing they/we notice. It's a place where you can admit to loss and loneliness because most of us will know where you are coming from, some cope differently but at times some of us don't cope very well. It doesn't matter if you are face to face or online we are real people and only the idiots that frequent this site forget that.

I am Lady..shhhh

DITTO Rowan !!
fell asleep which wasn't the intention, but not sleeping well at night is taking its toll - i know what you have said is right but even with crises team which i have used before, will this be sorted any time soon. I know some also on here who have like theland had his share of problems, but this has come over months, and just now feel totally adrift and its not because of separation of family per se.
Sleep while you can, it will help. We'll be here when you wake up dont worry, going nowhere today.
sorry that its come to this. posting on an website for help. I wish that i didn't feel somewhat sick, i have dinner for later and see how i feel but its hard getting it down. Have stopped doing so many things, that i like, watching tv yesterday was difficult, did watch some but went to bed early.
Try to nibble at something if you can't face a meal Emmie, have a warm drink and know you have made the first huge step in this battle.
have a ready meal so don't have to think about what to cook, will eat it but this sick feeling has been around for a while. I know people like theland has his bad depressions and im fully aware of others on here who are lonely and missing their families- so i feel doubly sorry for them, will see what the crises team say tomorrow and see if i can get to the chemist tomorrow -
had some coffee earlier all i can manage for now.
I think you need to stop with comparisons with you and theland Emmie and recognise your own ails and get them sorted first, you are important and don't forget that,
i know bobbi, i guess at my time of life i didn't expect it to come back and as bad
The ready meal is perfect. Just eat what you can of it Em.
It has and you've taken a positive step asking for help Emmie and that's good
maydup, i know. I don;t want to throw good food out, i have enough to last till next week online shop
i feel sorry for my mate as she has her plans scuppered going into tier 4, though i think they were taking a chance of trying to get away. and i have only known her about 4 years, but we met regularly for a coffee even a beer when we could
