Exercise Vulnerable Children

So our employer has a huge (about 500acres!) property. She mentioned she’d like to try support some of the vulnerable kids - give them a safe place to run around to expend energy etc. Does anyone have any ideas as to how / if this wld be possible? In a simple way? Cos clearly in today’s health n safety world there would be things such as safeguarding issues, public liability insurance etc etc

Its a lovely idea, but right now everyone should be staying at home.

The only thing she could do would be to open the grounds to the public for a walk in their family groups, or to link to an organisation that supports vulnerable children in your area and offer the grounds to them to use. They will have covered all of the safety and protection procedures already.

Tbh opening the grounds to jo public is not what she had in mind ... it’s fir the kids that are the most vulnerable (socially ) that she is thinking of. So going via another organisation wld help to identify those sort of kids

I suspect that even then the landowner would need some checks done (come and bring your vulnerable kiddies to my lovely private and secuded estate....)
