dog suffering from anxiety

my dog recently has been back to the vets with whats described as anxiety attacks, her symptoms are panting very heavily, crying, getting up quick from the floor like she has been spooked and so on, she has been put on a course of tablets. She had her heart checked yesterday and its good. Has anyone experienced the same problem with there dog.

What are the tablets she is on? How long is the course?

Did the vet offer any other advice (eg see a dog behaviourist)?

Had there been thunder around when it happened? If you are in this country - UK - there has been alot of thunder lately and this may be spooking her.
